Michael has been a sailor since his early teens, and has also developed a strong passion for photography.

Grantly first studied visual communications at Portsmouth College of Art, then photography at the Royal College of Art in London. He was awarded a Royal Society of Arts award for design in photography.
Having been a freelance photographer since 1990, he worked with many of the country’s top corporate companies, and created UK Stock Images Ltd.

Lifestyle Estates supports the "Conservatoire du Littoral", a non-profit organisation which aims to protect fragile or threatened maritime coasts in France and the French West Indies.
